The show is hosted by DEZ the PREZ along with his DJ BO and Co-Host Tia. It includes popular segments such as: The Paparazzi Report, Spotlight, The List, Drinking Games, Ladies’ Lounge, The Swagg Report, etc. The show airs on WLVS Radio online. It is the largest online broadcaster in the DC Metropolitan area, and receives hits in every major Market in the country, as well as in over 100 countries around the world. The show garners over 1200 live listeners per month and has a social media
impact of over 1 million monthly. The show penetrates a large local demographic along with a strong international presence specifically in Canada, Europe and Asia.

Hailing from the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia) area, Desmond Walker a.k.a. DEZ the Prez, has been involved in music since childhood. Born in Columbia, MD, he began singing in the choir at his Baltimore, MD based church at the age of 7. His musical and performing interests just grew from there. Singing in chorales and performing in plays all the way through High School. This is also where he began writing his own music. Halfway through his high school career, his family moved to Bowie, MD (just outside of Washington, DC), where he immediately became very involved in the schools music scene by leading the Gospel Choir and starring in and producing several school shows including a Motown Review. Upon graduation from high school, he attended Howard University for Marketing because he decided that he wanted to pursue the business side of music. The stage never stopped calling his name. While in school he joined a traveling/recording group, NuMobb, where he was a featured soloist.

Shortly after this time he moved to New York City and began to musically flourish and attained mentorship from seasoned producers and writers. Studying under many including Soul Diggaz (Beyoncé, Missy Elliot). He linked up with Socialite Entertainment and started promoting at some of the hottest clubs in the city. Staying in line with his business hustle he interned for BMG Music Group as well as The Britto Agency PR Firm, where he even developed events for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. DEZ retuned home after a couple years and has worked with local artists on their creative and business endeavors. From that experience he was then inspired to create his own project. He honed his production skills and created the album “Gainfully Employed, Vol.I” in 2010. In 2011, he created an artist collective and production company called “The Cabinet” under the DJW International, LLC umbrella. His music has been performed for thousands of people and his company has nurtured many artists.

In 2012 he transitioned into radio, where he has helped to transform the DMV music scene. In addition to radio, he currently Hosts and Presents at major events and festivals including Trillectro Music Festival, Howard University Homecoming, University of the District of Columbia Homecoming, Songwriter Composer and MC Music Conference, and many more. In addition, he organizes and promotes major parties and events in the DMV. Helping the youth in schools and promoting community service organizations is another one of his passions and SuiteLife Radio is a major part of that movement. DEZ the PREZ’ influence continues to rise and he stays involved with the community. With his vibrant winning personality, DEZ the PREZ is headed towards the top, and there is no doubt he will reach it. With an ever expanding brand and a large heart, he is destined to land among the stars.
